The Bubble Party... coming soonBig News! IFEC's reception during the NRA Show is getting a make-over. The day, time and place are the same as last year, but the party is sporting a new name and attitude.
We've christened it the Bubble Party because it's all about -- you guessed it -- bubbles; bubbles of all colors, shapes and sizes, from the tiny ones in the official party drink (Lodi sparkling wine from LVVR Cellars - Lodi Winegrape Commission) to big ones pumped from a machine, to the old-fashioned DIY kind, and more. If you're feeling a little deflated from a long day on the show floor, or even if you're not, the Bubble Party is sure to lift your spirits.

You provide your product and you may provide your own recipe or else IFEC will arrange for the hotel chef to create a dish for you. The hotel will bill you for preparation.
You may engage your own chef or culinary presenter for your food station. Each food station will consist of a back prep table (if needed by your presenter) and a front display table. Standard linens, servingware and replenishment and busing service will be provided. The hotel may charge for rental of any equipment it doesn't stock.
Food sponsors provide their own signage and decoration for their stations.

To maximize recognition for your brands and products as well as enhance the overall aesthetic of the event, sponsors are encouraged to provide a 2 ft. x 3 ft.
Beverage station signage details
Beverage sponsors who are presenting from their own stations are encouraged to provide posters styled like the food station posters described above. IFEC will provide signs at the bar for sponsors whose beverages are being served from the bar by hotel bartenders.
Details of your presentation must be provided by April 17; last day for changes is April 21.
Requirements for Gifts
Take-Home gifts should be non-perishable and compact enough for easy carrying. A poster, like the one described above, is recommended for placement at the gift station.
Items for the event may include branded napkins, cocktail stirrers, coasters and similar.

A 60-year-old traditionThe IFEC spring cocktail party and IFEC, the association, both started with a group of editors and PR people meeting for drinks at The Drake Hotel during the 1956 NRA Show. They decided that frequent meetings would benefit them and industry readers, and so it's natural that IFECers have gathered during the show ever since.
